Overview
We are seeking experienced SAP Finance Trainers to support a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programme (Programme Sapphire). This is a critical role within the Organisational Change Management (OCM) function, supporting end users through training delivery, UAT, go-live and hypercare. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong SAP Finance expertise and the ability to work confidently in a fast-moving, evolving programme environment with emerging training content and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance training across classroom, virtual (Teams) and at-the-elbow support sessions
- Support business users and SMEs during UAT, go-live and hypercare phases
- Work closely with OCM, SMEs and training vendors to shape and deliver effective training content
- Act as a key bridge between vendor materials, SMEs and end users
- Support user adoption and confidence in the new SAP Public Cloud Finance solution
- Contribute to structured training waves and coordinate delivery across business groups
- Support use of WalkMe digital adoption tools within training delivery (usage, not build)
Required Experience
- Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance training delivery experience (essential)
- Broad SAP Finance knowledge including AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Projects, Treasury and Cash Management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (eg reconciliations, period close, bank balancing)
- Proven experience supporting UAT, go-live and hypercare activities
- Ability to deliver training in both structured and fast-changing environments
Desirable Experience
- WalkMe experience
- SAP Public Cloud implementation experience
- Experience within public sector or local government environments (CIPFA-aligned beneficial)
