Licensing Support Officer

Triumph Consultants are looking for a LicensingSupport Officer toprovide technical and administrative support to the Licensing Team. Contract is for 3 months inNewton Abbot, Devon TQ12 4XX for 3 months.

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

Office-based

Free onsite parking

Key requirements:

Previous experience in licensing or a related field is desirable

Experience of using databases or case management systems and producing clear written correspondence

Experience of assessing applications, maintaining accurate records and managing work to statutory or service deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft accurate correspondence

Knowledge of data-quality principles, confidentiality, information governance and records management

Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and in the use of database and case management systems

Key responsibilities

Assist the Licensing Officers to validate licensing applications and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance

Undertake compliance checks of licensing drivers and vehicles

Assist the Licensing Officers when requested, to provide clear and accurate technical and procedural advice to internal and external customers

Maintain complete and accurate electronic case files, audit trails, registers and correspondence

Maintain confidentiality and comply with policy of council

Support data-cleansing, digitisation and system-migration work
