The role:
We are recruiting for an HR Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy Human Resources team. You will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, HR systems administration and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring records are maintained accurately and HR services are delivered efficiently.
Key accountabilities:
- Managing recruitment campaigns from advert to offer
- Coordinating interviews and candidate communications
- Completing pre-employment checks including references, DBS and right to work
- Producing contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
- Maintaining employee records on the HR system
- Supporting HR casework, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes
- Taking notes at formal HR meetings where required
- Providing advice and support to managers and employees
- Helping ensure HR processes remain compliant and accurate
Requirements/key criteria:
Essential:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR qualification
- Previous experience supporting HR casework and employee relations matters
- Experience delivering a comprehensive HR or administrative support service
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
