Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Emerging Technology to lead the Trust's digital innovation and transformation agenda. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader with a strong background in digital transformation, healthcare innovation, emerging technologies, and strategic partnership development to help shape the future of healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Trust's innovation and emerging technology strategy.
- Drive the adoption of AI, digital health technologies, data analytics, wearables, robotics, and other innovative solutions.
- Develop strategic partnerships with NHS organisations, universities, research bodies, and technology providers.
- Secure and manage innovation funding and grants.
- Oversee a portfolio of digital transformation and innovation projects.
- Support organisational change and digital adoption across clinical and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with governance, information security, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Significant senior leadership experience in healthcare innovation, digital transformation, research, or technology.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital and innovation programmes.
- Strong understanding of NHS digital priorities and emerging healthcare technologies.
- Experience building strategic partnerships and securing external funding.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
