The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Pay rate: £14.55 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37, Monday – Friday, normal working hours

This opening assignment is for 12 weeks

Location: Staffordshire ST15 0SD. Must have a clean and valid DL as will be required to drive Force Vehicle

The role holder will be responsible for reviewing historic evidential case files in paper format to ascertain whether they meet set criteria for further review. This review will look at the nature of the crimes recorded and the volume of victims and suspects. The post-holder needs to have experience of reviewing high volumes of information and identifying key points. The information being reviewed is of a sensitive nature with evidence of sexual offences which will need to be considered by applicants.

Key accountabilities:

  • Review historic evidential case files in paper format to ascertain whether they meet set criteria for further review.
  • Look at the nature of the crimes recorded and the volume of victims and suspects.

Key criteria:

  • Previous policing or crime review experience.
  • PIP 2 accreditations is desirable.
  • Ability to lead and empower multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage diverse and conflicting interests.
