Triumph Consultants are looking for a Finance Business Partner to provide their client with financial advice, monitoring and support to service areas, helping improve performance and ensure value for money. Contract is for 3 months in Coalville, Leicestershire LE67 4JP
Finance Business Partner
Pay Rate: £22.28 per hour PAYE
Hybrid Working
Key Requirements
- AAT qualified or equivalent, with at least three years’ post-qualification finance experience, or substantial relevant experience.
- Experience in a local authority finance environment, including knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts (HRA).
- Experience of budget preparation, monitoring and statutory accounting.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide clear advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and monitor budgets and performance.
- Work closely with service managers to provide financial advice and support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and value for money.
- Support the annual statement of accounts and statutory reporting requirements.
- Provide financial support for key projects and help services manage resources effectively.
