Pay rate: £16.05 per hour PAYE
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Business Support Administrator to provide business and administration support to managers and front line staff across an early help service.
Along with practitioners, you will also provide a welcoming first point of contact at children’s centre sites as required across the family hubs.
The role also includes Database maintenance; supporting the access and update of relevant databases and generating reports for management information in a timely and efficient manner.
You will also organise and maintain records and documents using the appropriate council process / system, ensuring all new family’s details are registered.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Provide comprehensive business support to Early Help managers and practitioners.
Support front-line staff by managing day-to-day administrative tasks efficiently and professionally.
Assist in maintaining and updating relevant databases, ensuring accurate records are kept.
Generate reports for management information in a timely and efficient manner.
Organise and maintain records and documents using the appropriate council processes and systems.
Ensure all new family details are registered correctly in accordance with data protection and council guidelines.
Provide face-to-face and telephone support to service users across various family hub sites, offering excellent customer service.

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role, preferably within a public sector or social care setting.
Strong IT and data entry skills with experience in using databases and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work flexibly across multiple sites when required.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
