Triumph Consultants are looking for a Pay and Benefits Support Advisor provide an accurate and responsive payroll, pay and benefits service to managers, employees and third-party customers. Contract is for 6 months (with scope to become permanent) in Bristol BS1 5TR.
Pay and Benefits Support Advisor
Pay Rate: £17.17 per hour PAYE
Contract length: 6 months (with scope to become permanent)
Location: Bristol BS1 5TR

Key requirements
- Payroll administration competency to NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent.
- Experience providing payroll advice and guidance in an advisory role.
- Experience delivering transactional payroll services to deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of PAYE, statutory absence calculations and pension scheme regulations, including LGPS/Teachers.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and able to analyse detailed payroll information accurately
Key responsibilities
- Process HR and payroll data accurately in iTrent, maintaining records in line with audit, SLA and payroll deadlines.
- Respond to payroll enquiries and provide clear pay and benefits advice in line with policy, legislation and statutory requirements.
- Complete manual calculations for statutory absence, overpayments, year-end values and pensions, and provide accurate information to pension providers.
- Investigate complex pay issues, transactional errors and audits to support accurate and timely salary payments.
- Support service improvements, payroll system development, third-party claims, Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information requests.
