We are seeking a Pest Control Officer to provide a safe, high-quality pest control service across domestic and commercial premises. You will investigate pest issues, carry out treatments and provide advice on preventing infestations.

Key Requirements

• Relevant pest control qualification, ideally RSPH/BPCA Level 2 Award in Pest Management.
• Experience in pest control, ideally across both domestic and commercial settings.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good customer service skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and relevant legislation, with willingness to undertake a DBS check.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to pest control requests, investigating issues and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Carry out pest inspections, treatments and preventative work safely and in line with council policies and legislation.
• Prepare quotes, costings and treatment plans, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Provide professional pest control advice to residents, businesses and internal stakeholders.
• Take appropriate enforcement action where required, including serving statutory notices, and maintain accurate records and reports.

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
