Our Client is seeking an experienced Asset Manager who will join their new Asset Information Management (AIM) Team. This team will lead the charge in ensuring the structured delivery of project and facilities data, forming a key part of the “Golden Thread” of information across the estate.
They are looking for an experienced BIM professional to act as the primary point of contact between project delivery teams and asset management, ensuring BIM requirements are clear, auditable, and aligned with ISO 19650 standards. This is a high-impact role with a strong focus on BIM assurance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Be the first line of contact for BIM-related project queries
Translate and implement BIM requirements across delivery teams
Review and audit BIM deliverables (IFC, COBie, Revit models) to ensure they meet standards and expectations
Maintain and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and support the resolution of issues
Develop and maintain AIRs, EIRs, and digital handover procedures
Facilitate the integration of BIM data into asset and facilities management systems (CAFM/IWMS)
Support the Common Data Environment (CDE) processes across teams and partners
Mentor junior team members and support wider AIM initiatives
Essential Criteria:
Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework
Hands-on experience auditing BIM deliverables, particularly in verifying IFC, COBie, and Revit outputs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
3–5+ years of hands-on BIM experience (delivery/client side)
Able to identify issues in BIM execution and delivery and take corrective actions
Experience working with project delivery teams and interpreting client-side requirements
High attention to detail with strong analysis and efficiency in data management
Comfortable balancing high-level oversight with deep-dive audits when needed
Asset/facilities management exposure or experience working in a public authority is highly desirable
Technical Requirements:
Autodesk Revit – Essential
IFC & COBie – Required
Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Solibri (desirable)
Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, Project
Understanding of CAFM/IWMS system integration
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 – Essential
