This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Property Operations Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day property operations of a vital Central Government department. You'll be part of a professional, mission-driven team working to support critical public services through the efficient management of property assets. With a broad and varied portfolio across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Bedford, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational management of government facilities across multiple sites.
- Oversee security, maintenance, health and safety, and related support services.
- Manage contracts and suppliers to ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.
- Monitor internal performance metrics including safety, cost control, programme delivery, and quality compliance.
- Develop, approve, and implement technical specifications and safety documentation.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring service continuity and compliance.
- Act as the key point of contact for on-site teams, ensuring communication flows effectively between stakeholders.
