About the Role

Reporting to the Trade Support Controller, the Business Development Coordinator will work closely with the Trade Sales Team to retain and grow social housing contracts.

The role will coordinate Trade Merchant customer accounts, support Triton’s environmental targets and social values, and demonstrate the Triton Keys of Care, Courage, Connection and Common Sense.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Coordinate activity across Trade Merchant customer accounts, including national merchants, distributors, independent merchants and electrical wholesalers, to achieve trade sales budget and forecast targets in line with operating profit and margin aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with key customer stakeholders including Senior Category Managers and Buyers at all levels.
  • Maintain good working relationships with the Trade Sales Team.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of presentations and meetings to key customers on a regular basis.
  • Support the annual review, negotiation and submission of customer trading agreements to the Triton Board.
  • Secure promotional opportunities and support the development of showroom displays for new and existing products.
  • Coordinate with the Product team to deliver new product launches across Trade

Merchant accounts.

  • Regularly review customer product listings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date monthly sales and customer records.
  • Maintain a highly organised and flexible approach to workload, with attention to detail.
  • Coordinate hotel booking arrangements for multiple bookings.
  • Coordinate Head Office visits for key customers.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point confidently to support reporting, presentations and customer activity.
  • Attend trade sales events as required.

The working week will be 35.25 hours based on 9.00 am - 5 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4 pm on Fridays.
