The Role This is a unique opportunity to join the Triton Fund Services team as the Fund Services Legal Specialist.
The ideal candidate will support the Head of Fund Services in managing, optimising, and streamlining Fund Services legal-related activities.
This role requires a deep understanding of operational processes, legal and regulatory requirements.
Fund administration experience would be beneficial, but Financial Services experience is essential.
Core Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for GDPR and data protection matters across all Triton Funds and related entities.
Ensure compliance with evolving regulations, in alignment with legal and data protection teams.
Manage the preparation, review, and execution of legal documents, including NDAs, consultant contracts, and trademark-related documentation.
Ensure all legal agreements are reviewed and signed in a timely manner.
Provide legal and administrative support to business stakeholders, including internal legal matters related to consultants, senior industry experts, and external legal partners.
Oversee legal and regulatory projects, such as fund structuring and fund administration tasks.
Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure compliance with legal requirements and effective completion of key milestones.
Support contract review and tracking for service providers, ensuring contractual obligations are properly executed and filed.
Provide litigation support as required, including assisting with legal proceedings, document management, and related administrative tasks.
Coordinate insurance matters for the group, including supporting renewal processes, managing notification and claims queries, and liaising with internal teams and external advisers on legal aspects of insurance arrangement.
Handle post-completion tasks and maintain organized contract records.
Assist in the administration and set-up of fund structures, working closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to optimise fund services activities.
Work collaboratively with internal departments (finance, business development, etc.) to handle ad hoc queries and streamline cross-departmental projects.
The Candidate Profile In terms of the experience and personal competencies required for the position, we would highlight the following: Essential Requirements Legal education (law degree, LPC, or equivalent) with experience in fund or corporate administration.
Legal background or paralegal training.
Knowledge of fund structures and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and trademark law.
Experience working in Financial Services is beneficial, a Funds focus is preferred.
Strong project management abilities with experience handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously while ensuring successful project execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels, including legal teams, consultants, and internal business leaders.
Highly organised with attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage document filing, legal research, and contract administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and document management systems.
Experience using legal software and maintaining electronic filing systems.
Flexible and proactive with a strong initiative to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
