We are seeking an experienced and visionary Platform Owner to take ownership of our enterprise integration and low-code application platform — leading the day-to-day work in the area while driving their governance, evolution, and strategic direction. Beyond platform management, this role is central to shaping how we as an organisation approach custom application development and integrations: establishing best practices, be part of defining architectural standards, and continuously improving the ways of working in this space.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in solution architecture, hands-on experience with platforms such as Neptune DX or Appian, and a passion for enabling scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions. Experience with full-stack development and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are considered strong merits.
Essential Requirements- Platform Ownership: Own and manage the low-code and integration platforms, including roadmap, licensing, and vendor relationships. Evaluate and evolve the platform landscape to ensure it remains the right fit as technology and ways of working change. Define and enforce platform governance, development standards, and security protocols.
- Solution Architecture: Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure solution designs. Develop and maintain architecture artefacts including data models, integration maps, and technical documentation. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance frameworks.
- Application Development: Lead the design and delivery of applications across technologies managed. Collaborate with other technology domains and business stakeholders to optimize system support for business processes. Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and DevOps processes working with internal staff and external partners.
- Integration & Automation: Drive API integration and automation initiatives across enterprise systems. Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of deployed solutions.
- Ways of Working: Continuously evolve how the organization approaches custom application development and integrations. Establish best practices and engineering standards and identify opportunities to leverage emerging approaches such as AI-assisted development.
- Support & Maintenance: Oversee platform support, incident resolution, and SLA compliance. Monitor platform health and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in solution architecture within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with low-code application or integration platforms such as Neptune DX, Frends, Power Platform, Workato, or Appian.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Azure, SQL Server, and API management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and sprint planning.
- Experience with data governance, security architecture, and enterprise integration.
- Strategic thinker with a balance of innovation and operational rigor.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
