This position is a temporary (contract) role with the opportunity to go permanent depending on the candidate’s performance. The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for supporting the monthly close procedures and managing the billing, accounts receivable and payroll administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in monthly close procedures and maintaining the billing system.
- Generating invoices and account statements.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Assisting in producing insightful financial analyses and reports on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Tracking and resolving outstanding payments.
- Managing the billing and accounts receivable activities.
- Managing monthly payroll administration.
- Managing collections and customer follow-ups.
- Handling banking transaction postings.
- Identifying bad debt exposures.
Note: The above responsibilities & duties are not an exhaustive list and other roles and responsibilities may arise as part of the job which you would be expected to assist with in order to fulfill ‘the business’ requirement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts receivable experience required.
- Strong Microsoft skills required, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
- Experience with any of the following systems a plus: D365, BACS Payment services, COUPA/SAP customer-based systems, ADP payroll, SWIFT (internal system).
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as this role will require interaction with our customers, hauliers, and depots etc.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations and changing workloads.
- Willingness to sometimes work flexible hours or days.
- Ability to demonstrate a robust work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills – must be comfortable working within a team environment.
- Must be able to work on-site four days per week (Monday - Thursday) in accordance with Triton's hybrid work model to support effective collaboration and business operations.
- Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Rainham office.
