The Triton Inn at Sledmere is a country pub and restaurant set in the beautiful village of Sledmere in rural East Yorkshire. We are now looking to recruit a good chef / cook to join our team. Someone with experience would be ideal and we are happy to offer extra training and support to help you in your new position with us.
Many of our staff have been with us for the past 20 years so we like to think we are a good place to work, with a happy and confident team running our busy kitchen. We serve lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday we serve traditional Sunday lunch until 4pm. Monday and Tuesdays would be your days off. The hours can be flexible to suit your requirements so we can offer split shifts or straight shifts.
Salary would be discussed at interview but is above minimum wage and you would receive an equal share of tips. We all work hard to make sure we enjoy our job here. There is no hierarchy, we are all equal and as such we all get stuck in to whatever jobs need doing so it's absolutely vital that you are a team player.
