About the Role:

Reporting directly to our Owner Directors, you'll act as a trusted partner, providing high-level executive support and helping to keep the business operating smoothly and efficiently. You'll be a key point of contact, handling communications with confidence and discretion while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Take full ownership of complex diary management, coordinating meetings end-to-end including scheduling, logistics, agendas, pre-reads and daybooks.
  • Attend meetings, capture actions and ensure clear follow-up and accountability.
  • Support wider business activity through research, report preparation and cross-departmental collaboration on projects and initiatives.
  • Hold accountability for the full lifecycle of company fleet management, including line management responsibility for the Fleet Manager.
  • Proactively arrange sustainable and cost-effective travel and accommodation.
  • Assist with organising company events and provide ad-hoc support and errands to free up Directors' time for strategic priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Maintain a flexible, hands-on approach, including travel between locations as required and confident motorway driving.

You'll be confident and capable using technology to support senior stakeholders, including:

  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Canva and other digital tools
  • A generally tech-savvy mindset, quick to adapt to new systems.

The role will be based at our Jarrow office, covering our standard working hours of Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm with no evenings, no weekends, and an early finish every Friday.
