We are seeking a detail‑oriented and commercially aware professional to support the energy procurement process and manage supplier interactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to coordinate key information across stakeholders to deliver competitive energy solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to incoming information and data requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of all meter types (HH, NHH, AMR, SMART, etc.) and their relevance within the energy market.
- Support the tendering process by preparing and issuing energy contract tenders across various contract types (e.g., fixed, flexible, pass‑through).
- Engage with energy suppliers to obtain pricing and commercial offers, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Compile, analyse, and present tender results in a clear and concise format to support informed decision‑making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role within the energy or utilities sector.
- Solid understanding of energy procurement processes and contract structures.
- Experience working with a range of meter types and interpreting usage data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, compare, and interpret tender results.
- Confident communication skills when liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools used for data analysis and reporting.
