Role Summary:
Wrexham Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants. To support our rapid growth, we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- To set up machines with maximum efficiency.
- Responsible for efficient cell production, including the multi-manning of machines.
- Maintain all production paperwork, including MIPC Sheets / Synchro Sheets.
- Maintain gauging and measuring equipment currently held on the cell.
- Liaise with Inspection Department to ensure timely first off.
- Maintain the Lean Manufacturing environment operating on the cell.
- Maintain all Health and Safety requirements.
- Liaise and attend meetings as required.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Responsible for individual job improvement.
- Ensure daily preventative maintenance procedures are maintained in conjunction with the Cell Team Leader.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure that you always adhere to safe working practices and wider Company Health and Safety policies.
- Report any hazards, near misses or accidents immediately to the appropriate person in accordance with Company procedures.
Person Specification:
- Hard working with excellent time keeping.
- Familiarity with both ISO & control systems preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Time served CNC Setter Operator or recent Graduate CNC Engineering Qualifications.
- Multi skilled machinist.
- Ideally have experience in 3, 4 & 5 axis machining.
Essential and Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt.
Package on offer:
- Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%.
- Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service.
