We have a new and exciting opportunity to support our client’s national technology rollout, and we are hiring multiple Field Service Engineers to join a growing UK team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining advanced capital equipment that will soon become a familiar feature in local environments nationwide. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position where your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills will directly support the success of a major sustainability initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install capital equipment at customer sites.
  • Train store teams on machine operation and best practices.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Attend breakdowns and complete timely, professional on‑site repairs.
  • Submit accurate digital work reports.
  • Maintain safety standards and complete housekeeping documentation.
  • Conduct system audits and on‑site evaluations.
  • Support warehouse capacity planning in collaboration with Sales.
  • Manage spare parts storage and stock levels.
  • Ensure all company equipment is kept secure.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer (installation & maintenance).
  • Strong IT and system‑integration skills.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electronic processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using email, online platforms, and completing digital inductions.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Positive, proactive “can‑do” attitude.

Additional Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience working with Linux.
  • 3+ years’ engineering experience.
  • Ability to commute to the role’s operating region.
  • No visa sponsorship available.
  • Must be authorised to work in the UK.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday as standard.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required for installations or urgent service.
  • Flexible working arrangements available.
