What You’ll Be Doing
- Architecting and developing embedded Linux solutions for custom hardware platforms
- Building and configuring Yocto-based Linux distributions
- Integrating device drivers, kernel modules, and middleware for real-time applications
- Collaborating with hardware, software, and systems teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Optimising performance, security, and reliability across embedded platforms
- Supporting product lifecycle from concept through to deployment and maintenance
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in embedded Linux development (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar)
- Proficiency in C/C++ and shell scripting
- Familiarity with kernel-level debugging, bootloaders (U-Boot), and device trees
- Understanding of networking protocols and secure communications
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cross-compilation toolchains
- Bonus: exposure to ARM-based architectures, FPGA integration, or cyber-secure systems
