The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Accountable for the delivery of the system building services engineering (mechanical, electrical, ventilation and specialist systems), whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. Capable of package managing multiple sub-contractors, sub-sub-contractors and suppliers from a package system engineering role. You’ll be responsible for: * Delivering within the project team, working with team, collaborating and coordinating with colleagues. * Analysing, rectifying and managing the completion of the MEP design, using engineering acumen and business’s management processes. * Coordinating and liaising with project sub-contractors, sub-subcontractors and suppliers. * Coordinating and managing the interfaces between packages. * Collaborating and developing relationships with key project stakeholders such as the client, design and construction teams. * Identification of risk and the production and implementation of mitigation plans. * Incorporation of modern method of construction, learning about digital technologies and prefabrication. * Implementation of company standards & project strategies. * Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You’ll need to have: * A proficient knowledge of an engineering specialism or bias (i.e. mechanical) including installation techniques, best practice, engineering processes, prefabrication and single system commissioning requirements, sufficient to manage the completion of design, integration, completion and commissioning of a packages or systems assigned to the individual. * A basic knowledge of other specialisms (i.e. electrical), including installation techniques, engineering processes, prefabrication and best practice and single system commissioning requirements to ensure consideration, collaboration and co-ordination with other systems and packages. * A basic knowledge of construction builds elements, including sequencing and dependencies to ensure consideration, collaboration and co-ordination with build elements. * A basic knowledge of commercial management to allow commercial control of a packages, inclusive of the procurement processes, change control, programme impact and cost to complete. * A proficient knowledge of planning processes and management, with sufficient understanding of key construction release requirements, critical path, tasks /works scheduling and commissioning activities to allow for planning and control of the of a package or systems from pre-construction through to practical completion. * A proficient knowledge of health, safety & welfare core elements such as working from height, electrical safety, fire safety, logistics and lifting, to provide awareness and ensure application in the safe management of supply chain packages. * A proficient knowledge of quality assurance process’ and & commissioning of single systems as well as the integration of systems through cause & effect, BMS and IST integration periods to allow full completion of their package or system of responsibility whilst assisting in the integration of systems. * A basic knowledge of digital engineering technologies or prefabrications (C2P). * Completed apprenticeship (trade /technical) (or equivalent) * Relevant BTECH/HNC. * Relevant CSCS Card. * SMSTS health & safety training.
