An established supplier within the construction products sector is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop its internal sales function. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales leader who enjoys coaching people, improving performance and implementing sales strategies within a fast-paced B2B environment.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for leading a small internal sales team, driving performance and ensuring outstanding customer service whilst helping to grow sales across an established customer base.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading, coaching and motivating an internal sales team
- Setting targets and monitoring individual and team performance
- Developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Managing key customer relationships
- Producing sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Working closely with senior management to support business growth
About You
- Experience managing or supervising a B2B sales team
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Experience working within construction products, builders merchants, plant hire or a related industry (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
