We're recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an experienced Electrician to join their Property Services team, covering West Dorset. The Role
/n
Working across domestic properties, you'll carry out a range of electrical installations, inspection and testing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards.
/n
/n
You'll receive your work electronically via a PDA and will work independently while being fully supported by an experienced management team.
/n
/n
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance.
/n
- Complete inspection and testing in accordance with British Standards.
/n
- Diagnose electrical faults and undertake remedial works.
/n
- Complete all certification and electronic job records accurately.
/n
- Deliver outstanding customer service while working within customers' homes.
/n
- Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety and electrical regulations.
/n
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure works are completed efficiently.
/n
- Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota.
/n
/n
/n
/n
/n
About You
/n
We're looking for someone with:
/n
/n
- AM2 qualification (or equivalent).
/n
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
/n
- Proven experience in domestic electrical installations.
/n
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
/n
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
/n
- Good IT skills and confidence using handheld devices.
/n
- Full UK Driving Licence.
/n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
/n
- Willingness to undertake face-fit testing.
/n
/n
