A local housing association are looking for an experienced Housing Repairs & Asset Management Professional to join their Property & Compliance team on an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and inspect responsive repairs, voids and larger works.
- Diagnose and manage damp, mould and condensation issues.
- Carry out pre and post-inspections and specify remedial works.
- Manage contractors and monitor quality, cost and performance.
- Undertake stock condition and HHSRS inspections.
- Produce technical reports, specifications and recommendations.
- Ensure works comply with CDM, Building Regulations, H&S and housing legislation.
- Provide technical support to residents, Housing, Asset Management and Customer Services teams.
Requirements
- Strong social housing/local authority experience.
- Responsive repairs and building maintenance knowledge.
- Experience with contractors and Schedules of Rates.
- Knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regulations and CDM.
- Excellent communication, reporting and IT skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
