TristoneNash are supporting a property services client in their search for a Senior Building Surveyor on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible working arrangements. Short term, they have a secure programme of Local Authority school condition surveys to undertake, alongside a survey programme of corporate public sector buildings.
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be working alongside expert and multi-disciplined property professionals. You will be expected to offer technical and business advice regarding building surveying and maintenance across several areas, including condition, asbestos, access audits and fire risk assessments.
Due to the diverse nature of our business, you will have the opportunity to get involved with a range of different projects, undertaking a number of duties including:
- Planned and preventative maintenance condition surveys
- Preparing and undertaking specifications, drawings and risk assessments for a number of new build and refurbishments projects
- Carrying out site surveys in relation to condition, undertaking schedules of condition, dilapidations, measured surveys and defect analysis
- Leading quality assurance across projects and services, ensuring client needs are met and relevant legislation is adhered to
- Collating and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders, offering solutions and recommendations
