We're supporting a local authority in Devon who are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to help keep homes safe, compliant and well maintained, delivering a high-quality repairs service that makes a real difference to residents. What you'll be doing Diagnosing building defects, specifying repairs and carrying out property inspections. Managing contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring value for money. Supporting reactive repairs, void properties and planned maintenance. Checking property safety and statutory compliance. Helping resolve complex repairs, complaints and property emergencies. What we're looking for You'll have knowledge of building construction, property maintenance and defect diagnosis, alongside the ability to manage contractors and competing priorities. You'll also bring strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. An HNC or equivalent in a building-related subject, or relevant practical experience, is essential.
