Stock Condition Surveyor- Contract Location: Herefordshire Rate: £33 per every completed survey We are looking for experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to support a large housing association with a programme of approximately 400 property condition surveys. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for a high-volume contract. The Role You will be responsible for visiting residential properties and completing comprehensive stock condition surveys, recording the condition of key building elements and identifying any required repairs, maintenance or investment needs. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out stock condition surveys in residential properties. Assessing the condition of internal and external building components. Recording findings accurately using the required survey software/system. Identifying repairs, defects and potential future investment requirements. Taking appropriate photographic evidence. Providing accurate and consistent survey data. Working professionally with residents and tenants during property visits. Completing surveys to the required quality and timescales. About You We are looking for surveyors with previous experience in social housing, housing stock condition surveys, property inspections or building surveying. You should have: Previous stock condition surveying experience. Good knowledge of residential construction and building components. Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Good communication and customer-facing skills. Your own transport and the ability to travel between properties.
