A recognised housing association operating across Cornwall are seeking a Development Manager to lead the delivery of their new affordable housing programme across the region. The Development Manager will be responsible for all pre-contract negotiations on mixed tenure housing projects as well as managing a variety of new build schemes in different stages including construction to final account.
Additional duties will be:
- To undertake pre-contract management duties from identifying and securing new opportunities, carrying out feasibility studies, gaining planning and bringing schemes into contract.
- To support the Head of Development in building and maintaining strong business relations with the Local Authority and external partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for a housing development professional to join an organisation that is making a real difference in the community by providing more mixed tenure housing to cater for a thriving region. A proven track record in delivering affordable, commercial housing projects and securing new affordable housing opportunities for either a housing association, local authority or private house builder is key to succeed in the role.
