Job Description
Job Title:Van Delivery Driver
Job Role
- Loading and unloading parcels from the van (20kg minimum weight of parcels)
- Completing around 40 deliveries per shift
- Ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service
- Delivering Parcels to customer homes and Argos Stores
- Maintaining accurate delivery records
- Performing vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Requirements For The Role
- Category B manual driving license entitlement (Held for over 1 year)
- Previous experience in a driving role
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)
- Need to declare any previous convictions spent or unspent. We will be running an Basic DBS check £25 charge after your induction.
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
Shift Times & Rota
- AM (5am starts) and PM (1pm starts) Shifts available
- 7/8 hour shifts
- Working 4/5 out of 7 days (weekend working included)
- Part-Time roles are also available.
Pay Rate: £14.70ph
Pay rates are as follows and are paid on a weekly basis through PAYE; holiday is accrued separately
