About the Role:Magnus Search is seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our clients team in the Morley area. You will be responsible for the multi-drop delivery of white goods and electrical products to customers, ensuring a timely and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver white goods to customers each day.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure all deliveries are handled with care.
- Be able to work in a crew with a fully trained drivers mate; equipment will be provided to help with deliveries.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle any customer queries on-site.
Requirements
- Valid UK 7.5 Ton (C1) license.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is preferable.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy items.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to start at 06:00 and work a 5 days out of 7 shift pattern, weekend work will be included as and when required. The average finish time is around 16:00-17:00
- Clean driving license max 6 points but certain conditions will apply
Benefits
- Competitive pay rate of £14.50 per hour.
- Permanent position available after 13 week probation period, starting salary up to £36,000 per annum.
- 10% bonus split in to quarterly payments plus overtime, OTE £40,000+ per annum.
- Consistent shift pattern with average shifts of 10 hours.
