Description
The Role
Triptease is an ambitious, growing travel SaaS business, working with Hoteliers to increase direct bookings and build revenue margins.
As Triptease's Finance Manager, you'll own a broad remit spanning operational finance, management accounts and analysis across our international group (covering 3 entities: UK,US and APAC) — working closely with the Financial Controller and leading the Finance Assistant. Day to day, that means payroll, AP, VAT, balance sheet recs, management accounts preparation, plus improving and automating the processes behind them.
This is a hands-on role for a high-energy accountant (part-qualified or qualified by experience) with a proven track record across multiple finance disciplines. You take pride in accuracy, thrive at pace, and spot where automation can save effort.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Finance
- End-to-end payroll across all entities (UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, Singapore and contractors).
- Oversight of AP — invoices processed, approved and paid on time.
- Sales Tax and VAT submissions.
Balance Sheet Ownership
- Month End Balance Sheet recs for all 3 entities, including, but not limited to:
- Accrued Income
- Deferred Revenue
- Cancellations Provision
- Fixed Assets
- Prepayments
- Wages/PAYE/Pension control accounts
Analysis
- Cost Analysis on P&L.
- Wages analysis for headcount reporting and cost control.
- Revenue Analysis, including month-end reconciliation.
- Ad hoc analysis as the business needs.
Systems & AI Adoption
- Assist the FC/FD with the migration to a new payroll system and a new finance system to replace Xero.
- Identify automation and AI wins across the analysis function.
Team & Ad Hoc
- Daily oversight of the Finance Assistant.
- Responding to operational finance queries from across the business.

- Experience managing a multi-jurisdictional payroll function.
- Hands-on experience across operational finance — AP, VAT/sales tax.
- Experience preparing management accounts, balance sheet recs and analysis (e.g. cohorts, MRR, KPIs).
- Experience in a multi-entity or group structure.

- High energy and proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
