About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children and Young People in Care Team in Wolverhampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people who are looked after, ensuring they receive the stability, care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold and manage a caseload of children and young people in care.
  • Complete statutory visits, reviews and care planning within required timescales.
  • Develop and implement high-quality, outcome-focused care plans.
  • Work in partnership with carers, families, education, health and other professionals to promote stability and permanence.
  • Prepare court reports and attend court where required.
  • Support long-term planning, including reunification, long-term fostering, special guardianship or adoption where appropriate.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and high-quality case recording.
