Warrington Borough Council is seeking a versatile Adult Social Worker to join their dynamic community service. This role is designed for a practitioner who enjoys variety, moving seamlessly between transition planning and urgent duty response.
Key Responsibilities
- Fast-Paced Assessment: Conducting Care Act assessments within a busy duty service environment.
- Complex Casework: Managing a varied portfolio including mental health services and working age adults.
- Preparation for Adulthood: Supporting young people as they transition into adult services.
- Safeguarding: Leading enquiries and implementing risk management plans.
Working Pattern
- Office Presence: You will be expected to work from the office at least 2 days per week to support the duty rota.
