About the team: We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join its Family Safeguarding Service, working within a strengths-based, multi-disciplinary model to support children and families at the point of risk.
About the role: In this role, you will manage a balanced caseload, allowing your skills and expertise to shine. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Hold a complex caseload of children subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and court proceedings
- Lead high-quality assessments and interventions within the Family Safeguarding model
- Provide practice leadership and support to social workers within the team
- Work closely with partner agencies including domestic abuse, mental health, and substance misuse services
- Ensure robust risk assessment, safety planning, and timely decision-making
- Maintain accurate, high-quality case recording in line with statutory requirements
