About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager – Children in Need (CIN) to join a busy children’s social care service in Torbay.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social work manager who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide professional leadership to a team of qualified social workers.
- Oversee Children in Need cases, ensuring high-quality assessments, planning and interventions.
- Ensure statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities are met in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Provide supervision, support and professional development to social workers.
- Monitor casework quality, performance and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Promote a child-centred, strengths-based approach to social work practice.
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
