About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Team Manager to join the Assessment and Intervention Team in Torbay. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast‐paced, frontline team where your skills will directly impact children and families in need of support and protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of social workers
- Oversee statutory assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, and care proceedings
- Ensure high‐quality practice, timely decision‐making, and risk management
- Support staff development through regular supervision and performance management
- Quality assure assessments, plans, and court reports
- Work closely with senior management and partner agencies
- Drive service improvement and positive outcomes for children and families
