About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Coastal North Social Care Team based in Leiston. This is a supportive, small team environment with manageable caseloads, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Child in Need cases (average caseload of 25)
- Complete high-quality social work assessments
- Lead and facilitate Child in Need meetings
- Undertake child protection work in line with statutory responsibilities
- Prepare and write Section 7 reports for court
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
