Tripod are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Stornoway, Western Isles.
Role: Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Location: Western Isles
Rate: £32-£35 an hour
Hours: Full time
Contract: Start in May for 3 months with potential extension
- Accommodation Available!
- Travel to and from Western Isles paid for
- Hand Therapy experience desirable NOT essential
- A driving licence is essential but there is access to a pool vehicle for domiciliary visits
- If the locum brings their own vehicle, business mileage will be reimbursed at NHS Agenda for Change rates
- Any candidate will require a valid PVG and must have current HCPC registration
The position is to provide predominantly out-patient Occupational Therapy with some in-patient and domiciliary visits.
- Experience in treating a variety of rheumatology, hand conditions management including splinting and neurological conditions is essential
- The service is provided across the Western Isles and travel for a clinic in the Southern Isles may be needed
