The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking to recruit a Social Worker for the Migrant Children and Families team, to support Families with No Recourse to Public Funds, as well as children in Private Fostering arrangements.

The role requires social workers to complete timely Child & Family assessments and to be competent at liaising with immigration solicitors and carrying out the necessary checks; as well as visiting children as per statutory expectations and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

The Migrant Children and Families team is part of the Corporate Parenting Service and you will report to the Team Manager or Senior Social Worker.

You will also be expected to be duty 1 day a week to lead on new referrals, this may also entail responding to referrals for Unaccompanied Children arriving in the Local Authority and to support the Social Work team leading on Unaccompanied Children as part of the Migrant Children and Families team.
