Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their stable and established Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team.
You will manage a varied caseload, including:

Child and Family Assessments
-
Children in Need cases
-
Child Protection work
-
Court proceedings
-
Working closely with children, families and partner agencies
The team benefits from manageable caseloads, regular supervision and a dedicated Short Breaks Team, allowing you to focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements:

Social Work qualification
-
Current Social Work England registration
-
Previous experience within children's social care
-
Experience of CWD work would be advantageous
-
Experience with assessments, CIN, CP and court work
