About the role

As a Social Worker in Adult Social Care, you will:

  • Provide professional support to adults with a wide range of needs and disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, carers, and families to promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Undertake assessments, reviews, care planning, and safeguarding responsibilities in line with statutory duties.
  • Respond in a timely and proportionate way to varying levels of need.
  • Ensure all work adheres to legislative frameworks, policies, and best‑practice standards.

Role Overview

You will need:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, BA, MA).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience within Adult Social Care (e.g., community teams, hospital discharge, safeguarding, learning disabilities, or older adults).
  • Strong communication, assessment, and multi‑agency working skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred practice.
