- Support young people through the asylum and immigration process from the point of presentation to the Local Authority.
- Carry out Merton-compliant Age Assessments where required.
- Work collaboratively with Housing Services to assess and respond to homelessness presentations and intentionality decisions.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans, pathway plans, and accommodation solutions.
- Build effective partnerships with key agencies, including Health, Education, Legal Representatives, Housing Services, and the Home Office.
- Establish strong working relationships with fieldwork and Children in Care teams to ensure smooth transitions to longer-term services where appropriate.
