We’re looking for experienced Senior Social Workers to join the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) team in Slough. MASH is the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns, bringing agencies together to make timely, informed decisions that protect vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex safeguarding cases and make timely decisions
- Provide guidance, support, and challenge to colleagues as a senior practitioner
- Complete high-quality assessments, reports, and court work where required
- Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners
- Support students and contribute to team development
- Lead on duty rota and deputise for managers when needed
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
- Significant post‑qualifying experience in children’s services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and assessment frameworks
- Experience handling complex cases and multi‑agency working
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
