We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner Social Worker to join the Neighbourhood Support Team in Lewes
This vital role involves working closely with the management team to triage and manage Safeguarding Adults at Risk concerns. You will play a key part in ensuring robust safeguarding practice, timely risk assessments, and effective decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on triaging safeguarding referrals within the team
- Work in collaboration with the management team on complex case decisions
- Apply professional judgement in high-risk adult safeguarding scenarios
- Support and mentor junior staff in safeguarding practice
- Ensure statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and Safeguarding Adults framework are fulfilled
- Liaise effectively with partner agencies, including health and police
