We are currently recruiting for the below post:
Senior Practitioner - Lincolnshire Council - Safeguarding - £40 per hour
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments of children and their families where safeguarding concerns have been shared.
- Support children who are subject to child protection and Child in need Plans.
- Compile assessments and reports for court within private and public law proceedings.
- Take cases from referral through to completion at closure, or through CIN, CP and Care Proceedings if necessary with no change of Social Worker.
- Work within a four‑week duty system: one week on duty (five days office‑based, available to pick up new cases and carry out initial visits) and two weeks off.
Qualifications
- Experience and training in completing Section 47 investigations.

Location: Office base in Grantham with free parking on site. The role covers the whole of South Kesteven District, which includes Grantham and a large rural area.
