Post-14 teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established SEND service supporting children and young people throughout their EHCP journey.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Plans.
- Coordinate Annual Reviews and key stage transfers.
- Identify and secure suitable educational placements.
- Build strong relationships with schools, families and partner agencies.
- Ensure statutory timescales and SEND legislation are adhered to.
- Provide high-quality advice and support throughout the EHCP process.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a SEND Case Officer.
- Strong understanding of EHCP legislation and statutory processes.
- Experience managing Annual Reviews and key stage transfers.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within statutory timescales.
