Key Responsibilities
- QA of Proposed Amendment Plans (PAPs)
- Quality assure all PAPs prior to issue
- Ensure amendments from professionals and settings are accurately reflected
- Check consistency across Sections B, F, and I following proposed changes
- Ensure plans are clear, specific, and legally compliant
- Ensure statutory amendment processes are followed (notifications, timelines, and rights)
- Verify that proposed amendments are correctly evidenced and justified
- Ensure documentation supports decision-making thresholds (amend vs maintain position where relevant)
- Review and validate funding requests arising from PAPs
- Ensure uplifts or reductions are evidence-based and aligned to provision changes
- Identify cases requiring panel approval due to cost implications
- Prepare funding cases to a clear, defensible standard for panel
- Approve PAPs for issue once QA and funding checks are complete
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready
