Key Responsibilities

  • QA of Proposed Amendment Plans (PAPs)
  • Quality assure all PAPs prior to issue
  • Ensure amendments from professionals and settings are accurately reflected
  • Check consistency across Sections B, F, and I following proposed changes
  • Ensure plans are clear, specific, and legally compliant
  • Ensure statutory amendment processes are followed (notifications, timelines, and rights)
  • Verify that proposed amendments are correctly evidenced and justified
  • Ensure documentation supports decision-making thresholds (amend vs maintain position where relevant)
  • Review and validate funding requests arising from PAPs
  • Ensure uplifts or reductions are evidence-based and aligned to provision changes
  • Identify cases requiring panel approval due to cost implications
  • Prepare funding cases to a clear, defensible standard for panel
  • Approve PAPs for issue once QA and funding checks are complete
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready
