About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to support our Adults South Locality Team. This role focuses on working with adults in the community, providing high-quality social work practice and leadership support within the team. Previous experience in adult social care is essential, along with the confidence to manage complex work and support practitioners effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional leadership and line management within the team
- Support and guide work with adults, their carers, and partner agencies using a person-centred, strengths-based approach
- Undertake supervision, case reviews, and staff development
- Monitor caseloads and ensure high standards of professional practice
- Manage and oversee complex cases, holding a small caseload as required
- Lead and contribute to Adult Safeguarding Enquiries
- Support court work, duty management, and team decision-making
- Ensure accurate and timely recording on management information systems
