Team name: Fostering Support Team (Supervising Social Worker) – will be doing kinship viability assessments.
Grade/Pay Scale: Please ensure the pay rate sits within the London Pledge capped rates.
Working hours per week: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Is it possible to work full time hours over condensed days? NO.
Expected assignment duration: 6 months plus.
Case load: 16 fostering households.
Essential requirements from suitable candidates:
- Experience as a Supervising Social Worker.
- Must be able to travel and be flexible.
- Cover the telephone out of hours rota once every 5 weeks.
Current working from home policy: In the office 3 days a week and 2 days out of the office. This is flexible depending on visits in the community.
Location of assignment: London Borough of Havering | Starting Well | Fostering and Kinship Service, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, Essex, RM1 3AR.
Equipment provided by the Council: Laptop and mobile phone.
For audit purposes, must be a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
